Dr Julie Heyes
Dr Julie Heyes received an Honours Degree in Dentistry from the University of Manchester in 1987. For the following ten years, she worked in a very busy NHS practice before moving to Perth in 1998.
She opened the doors to Clarkson North Dental Care in 2005 and has been serving local families for over 20 years. Dr Heyes is well known for her gentle approach and commitment to long-term patient relationships. She takes pride in providing thoughtful, conservative care and helping generations of patients feel at ease in the dental chair.
Dr Diana Simmons
Dr Diana Simmons graduated from the UWA Dental School in 2005. She also holds a Bachelor of Science and an Associate Diploma in Dental Therapy. Dr Diana enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is known for her warm, empathetic approach and commitment to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Dr Diana is dedicated to ongoing professional development to ensure she provides the highest standard of care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active as a qualified fitness instructor, travelling, photography, and spending time with her animals.
Dr Thomas Mahoney
Dr Tom received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2023. With an up-to-date knowledge of modern dentistry, he is renowned for a gentle approach that leaves patients smiling.
Dr Tom’s passion for dentistry has led him to be a past president of the Dental Student’s Society and gain extensive experience working in various government dental clinics, including spending time in remote communities as far as Katanning, providing a range of general and preventive services.
When not practising dentistry, Dr Tom can be found forcing himself to watch the Eagles lose each weekend and is an avid runner.
Dr Yamuna Shivananda
Born and raised in Perth's northern suburbs, Dr. Yamuna is proud to be providing dental care to the community she has always called home. She completed her Dentistry degree at the University of Western Australia in 2013, and later went on to complete her Masters in Aesthetic Dentistry from the prestigious King's College in London.
Dr. Yamuna is passionate about creating a calm, positive dental experience for patients of all ages. She also has a keen interest in helping those who have dental anxiety by offering IV sedation dentistry for even routine procedures such as fillings and extractions. Her other interests include crown and bridge, minimal intervention and non-invasive composite veneers. Dr. Yamuna works closely with the team to ensure every patient receives personalized, attentive care in a relaxed environment.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Yamuna enjoys music, travelling and spending time with her young family.
